Be Interested Post 1

For my first Be Interested post I decided to talk about a trend. The latest trend that I have noticed on social media is something called the #FreezerChallenge. People participating in the #FreezerChallenge are uploading videos of themselves or groups of friends doing the same dance to the song "New Freezer" by Rich the Kid featuring Kendrick Lamar. I have no idea what started the trend or who came up with the dance, but every time I get on any of my social media sites I see a new video of someone dancing to the song. The song is fairly new, and the #FreezerChalleneg shows how quickly a trend can spread with the help of social media. The most popular challenge that I can remember is the Cinnamon Challenge that was popular back in 2012. The first person that I saw do the Cinnamon Challenge was comedian Glozell. The funny part about that is my mother is actually childhood friends with the comedian. Social media trends pop up every few weeks, and I look forward to seeing what next trend will take off and dominate social media.
